Growing a Stronger Groundnut Future Together

SEN SEED is a SavanaNut initiative designed to support a stronger, more resilient, and more competitive groundnut economy in Senegal.

Our partnership approach is built on collaboration with the institutions and actors that shape agricultural transformation — research agencies, technical partners, financial institutions, farmer organizations, processors, and market stakeholders.

We believe that transforming the groundnut sector begins with quality seed, but it cannot happen through seed alone. It requires science, finance, farmer trust, field experience, processing capacity, and long-term market commitment working together.

Through SEN SEED, SavanaNut is building a collaborative platform that connects research, production, finance, and markets. By bringing improved seed closer to farmers and aligning production with market needs, SEN SEED aims to strengthen the foundation of Senegal’s groundnut value chain.

Our goal is to help create a future where farmers have access to better seed, processors can rely on stronger supply, and Senegal captures more value from one of its most important agricultural crops.
